The 210711 AXEON FST–Series  GACC/Catalytic Carbon Cartridge is designed for use within the FST-Series Cartridge Filtration System.

Combining both GACC and Catalytic Carbon, the GACC/Catalytic cartridge is used to remove chlorine, chloramine, VOC, hydrogen sulfide removal.

Coconut Shell Carbon is a non-chemically impregnated activated carbon. It has been surface modified during manufacture, to significantly enhance the carbons' capabilities for rapidly decomposing noxious compounds such as hydrogen sulfide, and chloramines. The carbon is produced from high quality coconut shell, and in addition to the capacity to handle sulfides and chloramines, it has much higher surface area that enables it to remove larger quantities of other organic species which may be present in the system.

Catalytic Carbon removes both chloramine and hydrogen sulfide from potable water. It is outstanding in volatile organic compound removal, taste and odor control and in operating efficiency when compared with traditional activated carbons.
